Watch FRC’s Peter Sprigg get owned on CNN (Very funny)
Peter Sprigg, Senior Fellow for Policy Studies at the Family research Council (FRC) got clowned in an interview by CNN’s Chris Cuomo during the New Day broadcast this morning. Sprigg’s group, identified as an anti-LGBT hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center actively opposed marriage equality. Failing to stop same-sex marriage FRC has recently ramped up their lies targeting transgender people. specifically regarding North Carolina HB2.
During the video Peter Sprigg attempted to justify HB2 by saying transgender people were a threat to the public. Chris Cuomo interrupted him demanding to be told of a single incident to which Sprigg sat silently distressed.
Serious props to @ChrisCuomo for debunking the bogus anti-LGBT “bathroom predator” myth: https://t.co/iL8BNJvlmR pic.twitter.com/6M6W3rLfdv

Unable to find a single excuse for the HB2 or justification for his hate Sprigg suggested it wasn’t too bad saying “First of all this applies only to government-owned buildings. So this doesn’t say anything about privately owned restaurants, stores, and businesses, they can adopt whatever policy they want. This bill is about keeping government out of private businesses and that’s a very generous accommodation”
So it’s ok to deny people their constitutional rights as long as the discrimination occurs in Government owned Buildings? That’s all you got Sprigg?
