“NU LA is a collaboration between myself and filmmaker Dan Abramovici (Netflix’ Ben’s At Home), and many outstanding up and coming talent from the Canadian Film Centre,” said Jesus Cmplxx. “It stars a strong Trans person in the lead role and explores boundaries of fidelity and sexuality.”

The video stars transgender lead Lavender and Steve Bradley moving to the indie of Jesus Cmplxx f Sway Clarke mixing NU LA at the confluence of cis/trans acceptance, rejection, sexual attraction, and infidelity.

“Before Jesus Cmplxx stepped into the spotlight, he worked at Sony Music for ten years where he worked with other artists like John Legend, Destiny’s Child, Oasis, Mariah Carey, and many others. After he quit his job, Jesus Cmplxx signed to Capitol Records US and Island UK along with his bandmate Sway Clarke. But the A&R team got fired and he lost rights to his songs in the process. But Jesus Cmplxx is reclaiming control by releasing his works independently.” – Source aupium
