Neighbor Chloe Sadvhani returned to the crime scene to leave a ballon after discovering her body the night before.

An individual being referred to as a man in women clothing by the local ABC affilate was discovered burned beyond recognition at the 1100 block of South Harvard Boulevard Tuesday morning.

The lot has a vacant house reportedly used by homeless people.

What remained of her clothing was female prompting the woman who found her to wonder if she was transgender, and if it was a hate crime.

If you have any information, please call the West Bureau Homicide detectives at 213-382-9470 during business hours, and other times at 877-LAPD-24-7. Those wishing to remain anonymous can call Crimestoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
