Thousands march in today’s Istanbul Trans Pride

Taksim square belonged to trans Pride Today! Thousands turned out for this celebration, although joyful there was a underpinning of discontent. Turkey is one of the most hostile of countries in the world to trans people but that didn’t stop this from happening.
