Texas House passes children’s bathroom bill

Amid Republican choruses of its only children, the Texas House passed an amendment today Sunday, May 21st, 2017, requiring transgender children not use school restrooms that match their gender expression if cisgender children are present.

This cowardly despicable attack against the most vulnerable of society was in response to warnings by state businesses that a wider bill attacking all ages would cost the state financially.

If the bill is seen as vile enough by the slime that infests the state Senate they will pass it to the Governor who has indicated he would be willing to sign anything that kills our children.

If all that happens and most likely it will, Texas will become the second state to have passed such a bill and the only one to currently have one on the books.

AP reports that Republican Rep. Chris Paddie authored the hotly-debated language, saying it had “absolutely no intent” to discriminate. Under it, transgender students would not be permitted to use their chosen bathroom but could be directed to separate, single-occupancy restrooms.

“it’s absolutely about child safety,” said Paddie, from the East Texas town of Marshall. “This is about accommodating all kids.”

Texas has become a play place for white hate mongers. It is with great sadness that I post this as we have failed to protect our children. A warning to anyone considering moving to Texas. Don’t. This will only get worse.
