CAMP NAKAR, Lucena City – Police are hunting down four suspects in the robbery-slaying of a 55-year-old transgender woman in Barangay Wakas, Tayabas City, whose body was found Monday morning inside her bar.
Senior Superintendent Ronaldo Genaro E. Ylagan, head of Quezon police, identified the victim as Joy Añonuevo, single, owner of Koozy Resto Bar, and resident of 41 Mariano Ponce Street, Barangay San Diego Zone 2, Tayabas City.
Ylagan said that the victim was found dead with multiple stab wounds in the body at about 9:30 a.m., Monday, at the basement of the restaurant.

Tayabas police headed by Supt. Geovanni Callao received a call from a concerned resident informing that the resto bar was suspiciously open.
