A transgender woman’s throat was cut open early Saturday morning by an assailant who then sped off on a motor scooter. Police are looking for CCTV video so they can identify the killer.

Cops were called to the corner of E. 128th St. and Third Ave. about 1:30 a.m. to find the 33-year-old victim sprawled on the ground with a gaping wound in the neck, according to The Daily News

Witnesses told police that the woman was sitting a bench near the corner when her attacker stormed up and started arguing with her. As the two fought, the man pulled out a blade and knifed her in the neck before speeding off on a scooter.

PIX 11 reports that the woman was rushed to NYC Health & Hospitals/Harlem, where she was pronounced dead, police said. The NYPD is not releasing the victim’s identity until her family has been notified.

No arrests have been made.
