Transgender woman Paula Del Mundo, 59, of Tampa Florida was last seen at the Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) airport Sept. 14 where she was supposed to board a connecting flight to Cozumel, Mexico, for a 10-day vacation.

But instead, Paula Del Mundo called her family from the DFW and seemed incoherent, which was completely out of character according to her niece Felize Camille Tolentino. Paula said that she had changed her mind and wanted to return immediately. Paula hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

Planet Transgender contacted the DFW police who referred me to a media line. After repeated attempts, a person by the name of ‘Seth’ answered. He was familiar with the case by name but told me they could not verify any information regarding her status. Hw did say that he had been contacted by her family and they were reviewing closed-circuit video.

Niece Felize Camille Tolentino wrote on Facebook pleading for information about her aunt, “She‘s been missing since Sept.14, 2019. It’s been 5 days already. The last message received was she’s bound to go to Cozumel Mexico for a 10-day holiday trip via American Airlines at Dallas Airport. Although she was early for the flight, she decided not to go and want to get a return ticket back to Tampa Florida. Our family got alarmed because she sent incoherent messages, described hallucinations and about to be on the verge of depression. We tried reporting to Tampa Police and Dallas Airport Police but no developments whatsoever. We’ve almost exhausted all efforts and tried to wait. But every passing hour, we can’t help but imagine what she’s going through.”

“We don’t know anyone from Dallas Texas,” her niece wrote, “but we’re planning to go, search for her ourselves and verify her last whereabouts. We don’t have much means but any help will do. Any amount will go a long way into trying to find our dearly loved Ninang Paula.

Any whereabouts leading to our lost aunt/sister please contact:
