Participate in the 2015 U.S. Trans Survey

Trans Survery 01Designed as a follow up to the National Transgender Discrimination Survey, the National Center for Transgender Equality’s (NCTE) 2015 U.S. Trans Survey aims to create a “go-to source for information on the lives and experiences of trans people”.

According to NCTE’s website, over 13,000 individuals have already pledged to take the survey. However, the organization now needs everyone’s help with spreading the word so that all of those who pledged, as well as anyone who may not have heard about it, know that the survey is now available.

For those who do not have access to a computer or the internet, there is a map listing of organizations and events at which people can fill out the survey via other means.

If you are not living in the U.S., please still lend a hand by linking to the survey on your personal social media pages, as well as through any online support groups or forums that you are a member of. Send out tweets on twitter, share it on Facebook, pin it on Pinterest, blog it on Tumblr, post it to Reddit, do whatever you can to help reach as many trans Americans as possible!

I strongly believe the information collected from surveys such as this has the potential to benefit us all in one form or another.
