Montana’s Anti-Trans message heard loud and clear: Get Out

These laws will keep youth on the streets during the pandemic where you will die a horrible death.

Montana House just passed two laws anti-transgender laws today. There can be no doubt in these lawmaker’s minds that they will fail, but that’s not the point.

They are sending a message of hate to trans people of all ages. Get out and stay out of Montana.

One a draconian bill criminalizes doctors who so much as talk to youth about transgender healthcare. Healthcare providers will be subject to lose their license to practice and fines up to $50,000. Under this law, the States Attorney General will be given the pleasure of killing off any trans kids remaining in the state.

The other a ban on trans students from participating in interscholastic sports. A bill much like this was ruled unconstitutional by a federal judge in Idaho this summer.

This is GOP standard fare. Every year a state starts off the legislative session with vicious bills targeting transgender youth. As they progress in the legislature they get worse at each step. There can’t be a doubt in any of these republican minds that they will ultimately fail.

That is the plan. Now the haters in the next state have a bar so high they can, in their depraved minds, pass their slightly less toxic bill under it.

It doesn’t matter to these sick minds if the bills are ruled unconstitutional like they just did in Idaho. It’s the message that counts.

We hate you. Get out of our state or die.

Montana, message received loud and clear. I shudder to recall the times that I passed through Montana as a business person blissfully unaware of the consequences should I have momentarily paused there.

Both of these laws are proven unconstitutional and will be immediately challenged by the DOJ. We will see you in court losers.
