Meet Holland’s new Top Model transwoman Loiza Lamers

Loiza Lamers became the first transgender woman to win a Top Model franchise competition Monday night. reportedly Lamers didn’t inform the franchise holders of her trans status until after she had been chosen as one of the 13 finalists.

Although other trans woman have made marks on the Top Model competitions Loiza Lamers made history by winning.

On October 26, 2015, Lamers was voted the winner of the competition by the Dutch public, beating out Celine Koningstien, Lisa Kapper and Rachel Swaab in the live finale. Lamers’ prizes included a modelling contract valued at €50,000 with Touché Models
