Man charged during Pride Month with Triple LGBT homicide

Devon Robinson, 18, was charged with the killing of two gay men and a transgender woman in what police have described as a hate crime. Devon Robinson was arraigned Friday for the May 26th triple homicide and other weapons-related offenses.

WETM 18 News reports that the Alunte Davis, and Timothy Blancher died at the scene. Transgender woman Paris Cameron died later in Hospital. Two others were shot but survived.

Prosecutor’s spokeswoman Maria Miller said in an email Friday sent to FOX 2 Detroit that it’s “alleged that these victims were targeted and killed because they were part of the LGBTQ community.” She declined to release additional details.
