Man arrested for the murder of Nashville transgender woman Gizzy Fowler

Police have arrested Mallory Porter, 18, and are holding him on 150K bond for the murder of Nashville trans woman Gizzy Fowler.

WKRN reports that Mallory Porter surrendered to police Tuesday afternoon.

Gilbert Fowler, 24, was found shot to death on the morning of Nov. 12 beside her Buick Lacrosse in the driveway of an unoccupied home in the 3900 block of Lunn Drive in the Bordeaux area north of Nashville.

A review of Fowler’s phone records revealed that she had traveled to the area to meet an individual, which the forensic evidence shows was Porter.
