Mamá & Papa Bears Kick Start Kid’s “Every Body”: Wear you fit in

Ever Body: wear you fit in

Every Body

Imagine a brick and mortar store in your hometown that carries clothes specifically crafted for your transgender son, daughter, and gender nonbinary youth.

Well, Alicia Lagano imagined! And she hopes we will help her realize her dream “Every Body” which was launched in commemoration of Marsha P. Johnson on August 24th, the day she was born. The campaign which promises to employee LGBT people has transgender bands providing music as perks for contributing to the IndieGoGo.

“My stepson, Aaron, came out to us about two years ago as transgender.” Wrote Alicia Lagano. “He is 17 now, just started hormones and finding clothes is one of the hardest parts for him. I’m writing to you in hopes that you can help me spread the word about my company Every Body. My business partner and I are starting a clothing line for transgender teens in Los Angeles, but plan to have stores internationally. There is a huge need for a store like ours, as I’m sure you know, and it has never been done before. We are in contact with thousands of transgender youth who all want the same thing.”

“To feel comfortable in what they’re wearing and to not be treated poorly while shopping. We are tailoring clothes to fit these kids the way that they would like. We are designing a specialized size chart and will have free in-house tailoring to meet specific needs. Our store will be a one-stop-shop for everything these kids need.”

Undergarments, necessary accessories, clothing that fits correctly so that they can express themselves, and last but not least a safe, comfortable, and positive environment to do so. At this point we are raising money for our project on the site Indiegogo. We believe by working together we could make an extreme difference in the lives of our LGBTQ youth. Thank you for taking the time! Learn more about us at Everybodyfitsin.com

Every Body has already raised over $7,000 on IndieGoGo but still has a ways to go go.
