Thompson, 45, was charged Monday in Douglas County Court with one count of third-degree assault that is being prosecuted as a felony hate crime. Thompson has not posted the $50,000 bail as of yet. Thompson allegedly attacked a transgender woman as she tried to leave the restroom at the Down Under Lounge where he was DeeJay that evening.

The Down Under Lounge posted on facebook saying that they cut all ties with Thompson but apparently not before trying to bully an Omaha woman into removing the posts. These screen captures posted by Kara Jeslyn Barone on Facebook are allegedly¬†between Dahlia Strange and John Nosal owner of the Down Under Lounge. Nosal demanded that facebook posts regarding the attack be removed saying that the police report was ‘overkill’ warning her that she didn’t want to air her ‘dirty laundry’.
