Ladders to Get Over Trump's Wall

So, everyone knows about Trump’s failed last-ditch move to strong-arm Americans into funding his wall. And everyone knows about Brian Kolfage’s viral gofundme to build the wall. But did you know that Texan Charlotte Clymer started the gofundme ‘Ladders to Get Over Trump’s Wall’ and that it isn’t about ladders at all?

  • Millions of Americans will go indefinitely without a paycheck thanks to egocentric xenophobic trump.
  • No Golf for YOU! Trump is forced to stay at White House for the holidays.
  • Mueller’s Trump-Russian collusion investigation will remain fully funded and the agents will receive paychecks.
  • 69% polled believe the wall isn’t needed .

The $$156,270 Charlotte Clymer has raised to date with the gofundme “Ladders to Get Over Trump’s Wall”  is funding the “Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services” (RAICES), a Texas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency that promotes justice by providing free and low-cost legal services to underserved immigrant children, families, and refugees.

“I look at our clients and I see my family”

  • There is no legal way for Kolfage to donate the money directly to building the wall.
  • GoFundMe Terms of Service give a lot of latitude on fund usage but state that if complaints are submitted regarding the use of the campaign funds they will investigate and issue refunds if they deem money was raised fraudulently.
  • Kolfage tweeted last week that he will make public a plan to ‘get the wall started’ this week.

However, it’s doubtful the millions raised thus far through private donations will ever be used to build a wall. Private citizens are not allowed to directly fund a specific federal govt. project unless they get Congressional approval.

Trump tried to get the Senate to rewrite their rules allowing for silencing of Democrat opposition, but that was too much for Republicans to stomach. The House with a Republican majority approved 5 billion for the wall but the Democrats take over in January.

One of GoFundMe’s terms of services is simple: the funds must go towards intended purpose. If Kolfage turns the money over to the feds and they don’t use it to build the wall then he may have to reimburse every donor.

In October 2018, Facebook announced that they had removed more than 800 pages of political content because of “coordinated inauthentic behavior.” Kolfage told the Guardian that his page, Right Wing News, had worked with Facebook in the past and that he had even been trying to arrange a meeting with a Facebook executive.

Kolfage later told Breitbart that his page was deleted shortly after he raised $600,000 for Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Kolfage said, “We need to come together and Zuckerberg needs to get hauled into court. We’re going to take him all the way to Supreme Court if we have to. We’re going to fight for the American people and we’re going to fight for everyone who’s been screwed over by them.”

House Resolution 7207 was introduced as a way of addressing the issues surrounding the government receiving donations for the border wall.

Town Hall reports if the House can pass the bill before the Democrats take control before the beginning of the year, H.R. 2707 would establish the “Border Wall Trust Fund” and allow the government to receive funds for the earmarked project.

The new Congress convenes on the third of January and the new members are sworn in the following day. Not much time for Rep. Davidson(R) to contravene established law.
Anyways, guess the cats out of the bag about Kolfage’s White House connection. But I wouldn’t count on that too much unless he has stamps for prison mail.

Trump quits following Ann Coulter on Twitter after she called him a ‘Gutless Gigantic Douchbag’ for failing to get his wall.

Wishing Trump a wonderful holiday at the White House while obsessing over Coulter and his spectacularly failing anti-transgender crusade.
