Tonight I will be interviewed by Kayia Kramer host of the Queer Life on 89.1 FM KBBF. Episode 34 titled Planet Transgender Kelli Busey. Will explore, among other things, my vision for the Planet and what I expect it to become in the future.

The future is here. Now. Today.

Back in 2009, I had the incredible experience of watching Sass Rogando Sasot address the United Nations. Her speech touched my heart and inspired me. It was a major factor in forming my vision for Planet Transgender. If I had any misgivings then about the low popularity of international posts, they were dispelled by her speech.

Today Sass Rogando Sasot messaged Planet Transgender asking for help in funding for school. This is the realization of my dream for Planet Transgender, by helping her achieve her goal. I am asking you to contribute generously to her Go Fund me campaign.

Sass wrote:

I’m a Filipina transgender girl aspiring to become an international relations scholar and practitioner of diplomacy. I hope to improve the visibility of trans people in the field of international politics. Recently, I got accepted into a selective 2-year MSc Programme in International Relations and Diplomacy by Leiden University, the oldest and most renowned university here in the Netherlands. Unfortunately, there’s only 1 available scholarship grant in this programme. 89 of us applied. I was one of the unlucky 88 who didn’t receive a scholarship grant. Inspired by Oxford University students who successfully utilized crowdfunding to finance their master’s education, I launched my own campaign to raise funds for my post-graduate studies. You can read more about the campaign, my story and motivation, as well as my achievements here: I would appreciate any help that you can give so that my campaign reaches the people or organisations who might be able to help me fund my master’s. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you!

Warm regards,
Sass Rogando Sasot

For YOU Sass, Rock on.
