We called bullshit When Brian Kolfage promised to build Trump’s wall using money from a GoFundMe. It was obvious to us he was a trumpster who tricked millions, but his scam isn’t over yet.
GoFundMe told CNN that they will automatically refund money the suckers gave Kolfage However, he can keep the fundraiser going and keep money from donors if they visit the site and declare that is their wish.
“When the campaign was created, the campaign organizer specifically stated on the campaign page, ‘If we don’t reach our goal or come significantly close we will refund every single penny,'” GoFundMe told CNN. “He also stated on the campaign page, ‘100% of your donations will go to the Trump Wall. If for ANY reason we don’t reach our goal we will refund your donation.'”
“That did not happen. This means all donors will receive a refund,” GoFundMe told CNN.
It’s painful to see Americans fleeced but there two upsides to this tragedy. Any of the 20 million Kolfage keeps will never be used in a meaningful way and two….
