Gays For LGBTrump: Let’s Make America 8Straight Again
I stared at the newest form of our acronym “LGBTrump” confused about the “rump” attached to it. I mean lots of people have settled with LGBT+ for incisivity sake, but why ‘rump’?
Then suddenly in an epiphany, I realized someone had purposely sullied our LGBT acronym by adding this horses ass to the end of it. But who would do such a thing? Gays for Trump or as they like to be known “LGBTrump” did this nasty deed.
But why would they do that? It looks kind of trendy but wouldn’t they have known that rump might be offensive to all LGBT people? Not to mention the T who would have his smelly rump next to them?
Turns out it wasn’t meant to be next to the T, it was meant to be instead of the T.
Gays for trump founder Joseph Murray doesn’t think that transgender people should be a part of the LGB community, therefore his defiling the LGBT acronym wasn’t just justifiable, it was inevitable. But according to the LGBTrump founder, that’s not transphobic.
In a post for Breitbart, reports PINK News, the group’s administrator Joseph Murray claimed that Trump’s stance wasn’t at odds with his group because the “sex vs. gender fight is not the same fight of gays and lesbians for equal legal status of their same-sex relations”.
He wrote: “What Trump said does not disqualify him from being the best candidate on gay rights that the Republican Party has ever nominated — because gay rights and trans rights are not synonymous.
Murray continued: “Though LGBT activists are loathe to admit it, the plight of transgender Americans are starkly different from lesbian and gay Americans.
“The HB2 law, also known as the privacy and security act, says everyone’s sexual privacy should be protected by requiring men and women to use the public bathrooms designated for their sex.
“The law also accommodates transgender people because state law allows people to change their legal sex once they take medical procedures that clearly show which side of the sex and gender fence they’d rather stand. That state solution — although imperfect — is a better and fairer fix than a one-size-fits-all policy set by lobbyists and party hacks in Washington D.C.
Joseph Murray acknowledging his views are unappreciated by most of our community posted on his Facebook page Gays for trump LGBTrump defending his transphobic views:
“Just for the record – The Breitbart column I wrote about Trump & HB2 did not endorse or disparage transgender rights. It did two things – (i) show that Trump DID NOT flip-flop on the issue (despite media reports) and (ii) explain that gay rights and transgender rights are different. Don’t let the twisted media divide this great cause! Now let’s get back to making this country great again!”
So essentially, Joseph Murray would be in favor of measures to enforce HB2 in public accommodations, such as the leaked NC HB2 SRS ID card legislation proposed. Maybe Murray would also favor a required anal test for gay people before they receive their pink triangle card? You say it would never happen here? The world has heard those same defenses of bigotry that Trump espouses before.
As you know Trump has been somewhat supportive in the past, most notably allowing transgender contestants to compete in his beauty pageants and all that entails. Well, last week the political winds shifted blowing Trump for the moment further right.
“IT’S EASY TO COME OUT OF THE CLOSET … IT’S DANGEROUS TO COME OUT AS A TRUMP SUPPORTER.”
Eric a vocal Trump supporter, declined to provide his last name to NBC news due to fear of violence or “doxxing,” the malicious publication of a private citizen’s personal information online.
“When you put your name out on a national level as supporting someone who attracts that much vitriol and disgust, you’re putting yourself up for doxxing … Especially for someone like me who’s considered a ‘traitor,'” added Eric, who is a member of LGBTrump, an online network for LGBTQ people who support the GOP presidential hopeful.
So will gay Republicans be wearing Trump 2016 t-shirts and “Make America Great Again” hats at LGBTQ Pride events this year? Eric said it’s unlikely.
“It’s easy to come out of the closet,” he said. “It’s dangerous to come out as a Trump supporter.”
Hey, this is America and everyone has a right to political ambitions. But if promoting those opinions means dividing our LGBT community à la Barny Frank, and injecting the gay elitist exclusionism that used to divide our community, you lose my support. And IF your politics means destroying the LGBT acronym by defiling the T with this ass you lost my respect even further, gain a detractor.
Heres the thing Gays for Trump and Caitlyn Jenner. Your support of Trump’s transphobia gives tea party another way chip away at all of our hard earned rights, Lesbian, gay, Bi, Trans and yes even our misguided misanthropes like you. If tRump god forbid, get’s elected those winds will blow harder and no one, even if they live in a mountain-top eagles nest, will be safe.
