The Dallas Police are lying and withholding information regarding the murder of a transgender woman on 7171 American Way. As Planet Trans first reported, the police deadnamed and misgendered the victim and reported her dressed in men’s clothing.
In a follow-up phone call Monday Chelsea Geist DPD LGBTQ Liaison officer told me the reporter on the scene “was wrong” and had deleted his tweet which said that a DP officer said she was transgender. Geist vehemently denied that the victim was deadnamed or misgendered or transgender.
Geist said I had no evidence that she was transgender. Officer Geist, please take notice you can’t bully me. I don’t back down.
When left with no choice, when informed by yet another source, the Dallas PD reluctantly added that her name was “also Tiffany”.
We have since learned that Tiffany Thomas was wearing feminine attire when she was murdered. It is also possible that she was having sex and indulging in illegal drugs.
According to sources:
“The victim was wearing a fishnet Top and Wig…dead in a car wash at 7100 American Way. Possibly dope deal or sex worker deal. A woman driving by saw the body in a stall and flagged down PD. She’s obviously shaved head with wig and some kind of fishnet top on. Ask cop for gender and he said ME will have to rule on that. Didn’t take the car. Looks like a shooting (likely) inside the car and the victim fell out next to the vehicle.”
The Dallas Police blog still deadnames and misgenders the victim. The Dallas Police have maintained that the victim was not dressed in effeminate clothing and repeated a line first from family members that stated that she was not transgender..
A person or people killed a transgender woman. It is the responsibility of the police to protect everyone, not just those whom they select.
Dear Thomas Family. She is one of us.
