Clinton back on the campaign trail in NC “I’m running for the LGBT Teenager”

As we all know Hillary Clinton returned to campaign after suffering from walking pneumonia this week. Clinton’s 20 minute speech Thursday at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro was greeted with cheers of support from the states’ youth. This was was significant in that she committed to help the state’s underrepresented minorities, including transgender and LGB people’s targeted by the unnecessary, unenforceable Jim Crow-esque #HB2 laws.

At the 7 minute mark Clinton announced:

I’m running for the LGBT teenager in N.C. who “suddenly feels like a second-class citizen” due to HB2, the anti-LGBT law signed by Gov. Pat McCrory. “This is where bigotry leads and we can’t afford it.”
