Brooklyn trans victim regains consciousness and speaks of attack

Police are on the hunt for four men accused of attacking a transgender woman in Brooklyn.
It happened just before 11:30 p.m. Sunday in Bushwick.
Police said the four men walked up the 28-year-old victim on Bushwick Avenue and began making anti-trans and anti-gay statements. They then beat and kicked the woman, police said. One of them also threw a Plexiglas board at the victim’s head, police said.
Two of the suspects were caught on a store’s surveillance video.
One was described by police as a black man wearing a gray sleeveless sweatshirt with the word “freedom” on it along with a dark long sleeve shirt, gray sweatpants, white sneakers and ski cap. Source CBS

Now that she is able the victim describes defending her friends and the cowardly actions of these criminals.

Police released this video of two of the suspects and said they are investigating the attack as a bias crime.
