Arrest made for 2017 murder of Candice Towns

A Macon man has been charged with the shooting death of Transgender woman Candice Towns. According to the Bibb County Sherif office press release, 26-year-old Horace Jamal Marsh was charged with the 2017 murder of 30-year-old Candace Towns.

Transgender woman Candice Towns was found shot to death in Macon on Tuesday at 1557 Rosecrest Ave on Holloween night 2017. She was one of three people murdered in Macon that night.

Marsh was taken into custody at his place of employment, questioned, and later booked. Marsh is being held without bail.
