Amazon, Fire Transphobic Jeremy Clarkson

Jeremy Clarkson

Jeremy Clarkson

In what could only be described as a nightmare former Top Gear presenter, Jeremy Clarkson sought out parents of a transgender girl at a birthday party where he was a guest and proceeded to assail them with a transphobic rant. It is not known if the transgender girl was present but the friends who invited him said they were shocked.

According to News Au.com Clarkson wanted to tell the parents that they were “free to live a lunatic life” but they shouldn’t “be allowed to poison the mind of a child.”

Clarkson said as far as he was concerned, transgender people were “only found on the internet or in the seedier bits of Bangkok”.

“They were called ladyboys, and in my mind, they were nothing more than the punchline in a stag night anecdote,” he wrote in the piece.

Fresh from being fired from Top Gear after allegedly punching a producer in the face, Jeremy Clarkson has just begun filming a car show for Amazon Prime which will be available online in the US, UK, Germany and Austria

Amazon which just begun overcoming a transphobic past has now earned a corporate rating of 85% by HRC. while expanding their operations presumably in a bid to attract the best talent.

Employing Clarkson is contrary to Amazons own Corporate policy.

The staff at Planet Transgender are outraged about Jeremy Clarkson’s inexcusable behaviour and are curious if Amazon wants such a man to damage their hard earned reputation and position in the marketplace. (thinking Netflix)

We implore Amazon to fire this individual. Jeremy Clarkson goes to great lengths to make a point that he lives without concern for others rendering him basically irredeemable.

Planet Transgender has a petition asking that Amazon fire Jeremy Clarkson.

As a transgender women, we are all educated by all means to open up our mind to respect especially to public. He should acting as a role model not uneducated person to treat people with no respect. He can’t be a host or part of any famous well know company to give a great reputation to the public. He pull you all down into nothing.

The man has no concern whatsoever for the feelings of others and is sociopathic in his behavior which continues to harm many of all ages.. An avid reader and customer of Amazon I am ready to move my purchases elsewhere if Amazon takes a blind eye to a man who tarnishes their reputation as he has so many others… I have signed..

Obviously I am offended by this but if this story is true I would like to know who the parents were ( like names ) and where the party was if it ever existed : I am a great fan of Jeremy Clarkson as is my son ; Clarkson makes a point of making ridiculous some would call witty remarks about everyone from Mexicans to truck drivers all of which should not be taken seriously , I certainly will not be boycotting Amazon and am looking forward to the new show ,,, chill out girls and save your anger for the real evil people like right wing christian religion and south america

If he’d made a racist comment, he’d be out on his ear. This is just as bad. Such comments lead to frequent deaths through despair and “legitimized” bullying.

So where is the evidence that he actually said it? Or do we not need any evidence at all before asking for someone to be fired? I personally think that it is a disgrace that some very very worked up, sensitive people are calling for this man to be sacked.

I do wish people would realise not everyone shares the same views and clearly we do not know what happened.

He wrote an article, under his name. He totally said these things.

I am transgender. I am also a hige fan of Clarkson. I am sad to hear of his rant. But i see it as an opportunity for Amazon to open Clarkson’s mind to what it means to be gender diverse. If we can change what Clarkson thinks about transgender people we can change others to. Rather than call for his sacking, think of it as an opportunity. Calling for his sacking will only make him an even more bitter twisted person. A public appology would be better. At this point im not quite ready to give up on my favourite tv host, even though he believes I belong in a seedie back room at a bangkok massage palour.

Freedom of speech did not mean that your free from consequences!

Your headline is a lie! You want him fired, he was not fired. False info to reach more readers to sign the petition. I agree with him, accept your gender. You were made that way by God.

Ryno, the headline as was written in present tense, as a demand.

Like ‘Bill close the door’. is present tense.
“Bill closed the door” is past tense written about a something that has already happened.

As ‘Amazon fire Fire Transphobic Jeremy Clarkson’ is present tense then…
“Amazon fired Fire Transphobic Jeremy Clarkson” is past tense.
(that would amount to click baiting, what you accused PTG of doing)

I added a comma after Amazon so it will be more apparent that is a demand.

    Amazon, Fire Transphobic Jeremy Clarkson

As far as the content accurately describing the actual events transpiring at a child’s birthday party the original article first paragraph was written so as to leave the actual occurrences to the readers imagination.

The second paragraph was written in the present tense leaving no doubt that those occurrences and statements by Clarkson actually happened.

Since the article was taken down, no doubt at the demand of Amazon, and no rebuttal or clarification has been offered by Clarkson Planet Transgender will continue to interpret the Sunday Times article as the author intended.
